Ideally you should book with us when you’re booking your other vendors. Our soft booking deadline is 1 month prior to your wedding day. We are only able to take 4 bookings per month, so please book as soon as possible!
The closer it is to your wedding the more likely we’ll be booked up and unable to fit you in. We can rarely take last minute bookings and hate causing disappointment if our calendar is full. We often get messages from people the day after their wedding when we’re already fully booked, or we are unable to work out delivery, and it makes us so sad. Please please please book us in ahead of time!
For memorial and special occasion flowers, we understand that these need to be booked last minute due to their nature. Please reach out as soon as you can to see if we’re available. We will always do our best to accommodate.

When it comes to pressing, I only work with fresh flowers. Unfortunately I am unable to press pre-dried flowers as they are very fragile and the pressing methods I use would only crumble and break them up. What I can offer you is some resin pieces made with your dried flowers, including earrings, keychains, pendants and ornaments.

We need your bouquet delivered to us 1-2 days after the wedding/event to ensure they are as fresh as possible for going into the press. Flowers become increasingly more brown the older they get, and damaged flowers generally don’t press well either. (We can only work so much magic!)
Hand-delivery is always your best bet. Our HQ is just a half hour outside of Kitchener-Waterloo, so if you can find a guest or friend to deliver the bouquet directly to me the next day, that usually works super well. If you are unable to deliver, we can plan ahead of time to ship your bouquet.
Side note: to keep your flowers their best, try to keep the bouquet in water as much as possible on the day of your event and leading up to the delivery.

Once I receive your flowers, they go straight into the press. The pressing process takes about 4-6 weeks. Once your flowers are pressed, the design work will begin and we will work with each client for tweaking and approval. Once the design is finalized, it can take additional weeks’ time to frame your art. The entire process typically takes about 4+ months from start to finish.

This fee covers the time-consuming work of pressing your flowers. The process takes more than a month to complete, and requires carefully deconstructing & reconstructing each petal and stem. This fee is required up front and doubles as the booking fee, securing your spot in our calendar.

The short answer: yes
The long answer: our pressing process is totally chemical and preservative-free, which allows the flower’s natural beauty to show, and protects them from too much tampering and inevitable breakage as they are extremely delicate when pressed. This does, however, mean that they will fade over time, particularly affecting greens and softer colours. While this may not seem ideal, we look at it as a reflection of the passage of time since your special day. To minimize or slow down the fading, we recommend hanging your frame out of direct sunlight or bright fluorescent lights. -
At the moment we do our best with whatever flowers are given to us to press; however, succulents are the one thing that cannot be pressed because they turn brown or black and/or become moldy due to their very high moisture content.
If you don’t like how a particular flower turns out after it is pressed, we can omit that from the final design. In general, the more colourful the flowers, the better they will hold onto their hues. While white flowers generally press well, they can sometimes turn cream, beige, or even tan, over which we have very little control. So, keep that in mind if you’re going for an all-white bouquet. We are happy to discuss further if you want to go over your vision ahead of time! -
Design styles include top-down bouquet, side profile bouquet, and deconstructed bouquet. Framing types include backed (white background), backed with a framing mat, and floating (glass on glass). Our custom frames* are made with white oak and we have 6 standard stains to choose from. All of these options create a wide variety of combinations!
Check out our gallery pages to see everything in action! We are also open to hearing your creative ideas if none of these speak to you. Let’s brainstorm and make this into something you love!
*There is only one wood profile shape that we have for our frames. -
Nate builds and stains all custom frames by hand using wood from a local mill (see the About section for more details). Our glass is also made locally. We only offer one wood profile shape for our frames.

We are absolutely happy to ship your finished art, but it does come at an additional cost to you. Shipping costs vary depending on the size of frame and the total weight of items being shipped. We will send you an estimate prior to shipping it out and later provide you with the final price and tracking number (if possible) once shipped.

Unfortunately, due to border and import procedures, we are unable to take in flowers from other countries.
